2010 International Salon & Spa Expo

You will see the newest in Hair is right now.
I went to Cosmetology school in the 80's, we where learning about coloring the hair, not full head color or highlights, but colors on different sections on the hair. When I was in school I had my hair long and on each side of my I had colored about a inch was purple with a hair color.




While at the show I re lived the 80's. Color is in right now. There are different ways to have the color done. One is have a stylist use a color in you hair. Or see if your stylist offers colored Extensions.



There are quite a few companies offering the extensions, and this is big right now and finding a stylist won't be hard to do. I checked out two companies, a more time consuming but an awesome look is called Bling Strands. This is a Delicate metallic fibers that are tied into a style to create a dramatic and mysterious look, a fun and flirty look or just for everyday accent.



The other was Cinderella Hair. I watched both and new I had a lot of walking to do and wanted to try so for $10.00 I picked five pieces of hair- two blue and three blonde from Cinderella Hair. Each hair extension piece is about 1/4 inch of 100% Human Hair Extension. On one side was a special glue, which they attach to my hair with a hot Iron. I sat in the chair for 10 minutes and I was done. No pain and no time.

Days later I still have my extension and I love it. People are asking me about them. If I had the time I would of love to try the Bling Strands, and will do so as I see one of my stylist.

 
Color little or lots, colors are in right now.
Now about the cut, Long- shoulder length and a clean messy look or short with striking shapes. Don't throw away the Flat Irons, as you know and can see this is a style that will always be "in".
Play with your hair and have fun. Try something different and try the colors. Or go short, easy and such a great look. This year have fun with your hair, at any age.

“The first time I bought them in they were shocked by the sheerness of these things… and they were shaking their heads, saying ‘These Americans – I don’t know what they want!’”



The conflicts in Afghanistan over the last 30 years have caused up to 2 million deaths – creating a generation of widows and orphans in the country. But Matin Maulawizada, whose own family escaped to the USA during the Soviet invasion in the 1980s, has returned to the country of his birth to help some of these widows. Arriving from the US bearing designs commissioned by a niche-market fashion house, his company, Afghan Hands, capitalizes on the skill of these women with a needle and thread and is now not only earning them an income, but teaching them literacy and numeracy as well.

I have the pleasure of using some of the skincare from Jan Marini C-ESTA Line.


I used the Cleansing Gel , Serum, Eye Repair Concentrate, and Lips.

I have used and tested many skincare lines in the years and with my young age of 43, I have been testing skincare for my sensitive anti aging skin.

I am happy to report that Jan Marini C-ESTA line has out passed my expatiations.
I have been using these for over a month and cannot be more happier.


I have been using these as a regimen while adding one of my moisturizers when needed and I have been using them as Recommended, morning and evening.

Some notes about each one-


Cleansing Gel- I have the worst time trying to find a cleanser to meet my expatiations. I need one that cleans! I have sensitive skin, Roscea and looking in my 10 X mirror I see the tiny cyst.  While I am in need for one that does it all, Jan Marini comes into my life and introduces me to the C-ESTA Cleansing Gel. I am beyond happy with this.
I use the Cleansing Gel in the shower, it comes on a tube which I prefer. It has what I believe a light citrus scent.  It refreshing and It cleans my skin very well, and it even removes all of my makeup and my eye makeup.
This cleanser is wonderful for my skin. It only takes a small amount and I love the way it lathers. It is a cleanser that doesn't leave my skin felling dry. It Leaves my skin feeling very smooth and soft. And it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. The best thing is it cleans so well and the mirror is not so horrible anymore, those tiny cyst are almost gone.



I than apply C-Esta Serum. This has a nice texture and It absorbs fast, so I can move to the next step without waiting for a serum to dry. Did I mention I have roscea? This really calms my flare ups and redness. This too left my skin was soft with a nice glow. I have never been a sun person and wear an SPF year round.  I did have one small sun spot that has decreased to the point that I cannot find it.
 This has reduced signs aging. I had a few lines on my face that were greatly minimized after only a couple weeks, I love this!



Than I use the Eye Repair Concentrate,

A little goes a long way as all of the products that I have used. I really like the eye Repair Concentrate.
Some eye products leave a greasy film behind and I could only use at night time. This is completely opposite, not greasy and it sinks in leaving my under eye lighter and brighter. My eyes do look younger. It makes it look firmer almost to the point where it gives it a lift which looks smoother. This is a fabulous product, after using it for a little over a week I started to noticed a change. The baby Blues/Green eyes look fabulous and the comments I use to get about my eyes, they are back.


Lips.
My lips, yes I have a couple small lines. I had quit using my previous lip product as soon as I knew this was coming. As soon as I received the Lips, it was the first product that I had to test right away.
I am not a grandmother and I don't want to look like one yet. I can still see my grandmother and the lines around her lips. I don't remember much about her but I do remember the lines and how I hoped this would not happen to me.   
This is an excellent product. It does smell nice and the taste is nice. Using this for just over a month, the texture around and the lips themselves are much more smooth. It is a lift which help diminished the lines. This gives the lips definition and My lips look plumper and soft. I don't look like I just had a injection, it looks more natural. My lips look like they did when I was Younger.
While most lip products dry out my lips this is one that doesn't dry out my lips.
I am not really a lipstick user and really can't comment on this to much. I did test it out with a lipstick that I do have. I did notice that the lipstick did stay on long and it was easy to apply.



I was pleased with the results form the C-ESTA products that I used.
I am a 43 year old Mother to a five year old boy and I don't want to look like his Grandmother. I don't want him to be embarrassed of me as he gets older and my age. I take every step I can to take care of my skin and really would rather not go get work done. I rely on skincare companies to help me though this.
The skincare that is available now exceeds skincare even back 10 or even 5 years ago. And with so many skincare companies we need to know which line to buy. Us woman and men on this site let you know which ones that work.
